Position SummaryThe Opportunity Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Quesnel Primary Care Clinic. This casual position offers flexibility and the chance to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages. The NP will attach a patient panel and contribute to a collaborative, culturally safe care environment supported by physicians, other nurse practitioners, primary care assistants, and an interprofessional team. Key Responsibilities Deliver longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population. Attach patients per the Provincial Attachment System (PAS) guidelines. Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and care coordination. Collaborate with a supportive team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals. Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience in primary care across the lifespan. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed care.
