Responsibilities and Duties: Help with the initial setup of the hydrovac unit, ensuring it's positioned correctly and ready for operationResponsible for managing hoses, ensuring the safety of the work area, and assisting in the proper disposal of excavated materials. Help maintain equipment, performing routine checks and reporting any issues to the operatorAssist the operator in the hydro excavation process, helping to position the equipment, guide the hoses, and manage the excavated materialCleaning up the job site after the excavation is complete, ensuring the area is tidy and safe Qualifications: 2+ Years of Vac Truck Swamping ExperienceStandard First Aid & CPR – Level CH2S AliveCommon Safety OrientationConfined Space Entry and MonitorGround DisturbanceTDG & WHMIS - required to complete in-houseValid Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation an assetMust be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testMust be clean shaven to wear respiratory protection Working Conditions: Travel is required and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out AllowanceExposure to noise, dust, fumes and extreme weather conditionsPhysically demanding with heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs)Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime) We appreciate and thank all applicants in advance for their interest in Sideworx Connect, however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
