Role Overview/Purpose: To install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, refrigeration, mine air heaters and air conditioning systems and equipment on all Alamos properties and sites.Primary Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with ESA, TSSA standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating Identifying maintenance risks on equipment Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems Cleaning, adjusting, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC Systems and mine air heaters Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently Providing technical direction and on-the-job training Proficient in reading schematics and work plans Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Computer skills, SAP experience an asset All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications And Experience 3-5 years work experience Gas Fitter G1 Designation HVAC or HRAC Technician Certification Valid Drivers License Why Join Us? The rotation will consist of 7 days on 7 days off schedule.
