We are currently hiring a 433a Millwright for our Brampton manufacturing facility. This is a leading packaging manufacturing company with locations all over the GTA. This position is ideal for a licensed skilled trades professional with strong mechanical and electrical expertise supporting high-speed packaging and manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.Working closely with production and maintenance teams, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently.Location - Brampton, ON Shift - Straight Days 7am-4pm Pay - $40-45+/hr AdvantagesStable, long-term opportunity with a global packaging leaderModern manufacturing facility with advanced, high-speed equipmentCollaborative, safety-first cultureCareer growth opportunities + opportunity to support the growth of a plant ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-speed packaging and production equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimize downtimeDiagnose equipment failures, irregularities, and performance issuesInstall, align, and commission mechanical and electromechanical equipmentComplete electrical troubleshooting on motors, controls, sensors, and automation-related componentsRespond promptly to emergency service calls and breakdownsSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and uptimePerform safety upgrades and mechanical/electrical modifications to equipmentCollaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teamsFollow all quality, food safety, and health & safety standardsQualificationsValid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) licenseMinimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environmentStrong mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience working with high-speed packaging or food manufacturing equipmentSolid knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulicsAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawingsStrong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamFlexibility to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled shifts when requiredSummaryWe appreciate all applicants, however only those qualified will be contacted for consideration.
