Visit our websiteJob DescriptionThe Gold Rush Corporate Internship Program is an opportunity for students who are enrolled in a related program who want to excel in the mining industry. This program will have opportunities working closely with many departments in the Kinross Corporate office and mine sites, gaining real-world experience in an exciting, data-driven and technology-enabled field. Supply Chain is looking for a highly analytical, technology forward summer intern to assist with the following tasks: Job ResponsibilitiesAssist with Supply Chain Policy and Governance processes Work with Procure-to-Pay processes, procedures, and enterprise systems Involvement with KPI reporting, performance dashboards, and data analysis to support continuous improvement Participate in data focused initiatives, including cleansing, structuring, and visualizing supply chain information Engage with advanced analytics, leading AI tools, and introductory AI model development Provide support for other supply chain functions as needed Education and ExperienceUniversity/college degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Business or related fields Additional Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in a corporate environment is an asset Basic knowledge of supply chain management and related challenges is an asset Proven ability to learn quickly with a high level of problem solving Demonstrated enthusiasm for technology enabled process improvement Experience collaborating with others and communicating effectively OpportunityHandson experience working for one of the world’s largest goldmining companies, where the work you do truly has an impactExposure to an Enterprise ERP (JD Edwards) and modern BI reporting toolsExperience with data driven Supply Chain initiatives and opportunities to explore emerging technologiesHighly qualified teammates and leadershipThe opportunity to work side-by-side with skilled professionals Compensation & Total RewardsThe base salary range for this role is $44,226 to $60,060 CAD, plus 4% vacation pay.The hiring range reflects our targeted compensation framework for the role.
