Our people are critical to our success and by supporting their personal growth and development and providing them with the tools they need to succeed, PepsiCo Canada is a company you’ll be proud to join With six manufacturing facilities, 50 major distribution centers and 70,000+ customers from coast to coast, we're constantly searching for committed, hardworking individuals to help build our team.We are looking for driven students to work as a Summer Student Packer, General Labourer or Warehouse Worker who want a value-added experience in plant operations at our food manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario.Compensation: $19/hrThis position will require full-time availability May through September and you can be assigned to a variety of shifts (including weekends) between the hours of 7am-11pm, as well as overnight shifts 11pm-7am. ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll be working on:PackerFold and label boxesPack sealed bags of product into boxesStack boxes to build a skidClean machines and area as neededWork in an ergonomically correct mannerGeneral Labourer Provide packers with supplies needed Shrink wrap and remove skids from packaging areaSome heavy lifting requiredWork in an ergonomically correct mannerWarehouse Worker Pick orders from a pick list to be placed on a moving belt systemLoad and unload trailersWork in an egronomically correct mannerPerform general clean-up/sanitation duties including facility and ground appearance QualificationsCompleted high school diploma or GED equivalent Must be enrolled in a post secondary education program in CanadaAvailable to work up to and including Labour Day weekend Great teamwork and excellent communication skills Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred Flexible –Willingness to work all shifts including afternoons, nights, weekends, and weekend nights Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, grasping and stair climbing Must be able to lift / carry up to 50lbsWhat you can expect from us A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole self to work A supportive and collaborative team invested in your growth and development An opportunity to be meaningful and impactful within your work and projects An opportunity to give back to the community with our Always on Volunteer 360 Program An organization that aims to use their scale, reach and expertise to build a more sustainable world PepsiCo may use Artificial Intelligence as part of its hiring process.
