Dare for Better.What you can expect from us:Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to fit your unique needsA dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole-self to workInspiring positive change for people and the planet with sustainability goalsA supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development ResponsibilitiesPeriodically review all food safety and food defense procedures and instructions, to ensure they remain currentReview requests to change FSMS-related procedures and work instructions and direct the Food Safety Team through such reviewsManage the Food Safety Team and ensure that processes needed for the FSMS are established, implemented, and maintainedEnsure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements pertaining to food safety throughout the organizationDevelop the Company’s prerequisite programs and ensure that PRPs are implemented, monitored, and communicated to the appropriate parties, and periodically review PRPsPeriodically review food safety-related processes to ensure hazards are accounted for and controlledEvaluate suppliers’/vendors’ food safety systems; monitor and report on supplier food safety performance on an ongoing basisReview revisions to manufacturing practices, to ensure potential food safety hazards have been adequately addressedOversee the internal food safety audit program – select internal audit personnel, review results of food safety audits, ensure that corrective actions are understood, and supervise corrective actionsReporting on corrections and corrective actions taken at Management Review meetingsCollect, analyze, and publish measurement data, to determine the root cause of process and product food safety problems and recommend action to resolve those problemsInitiate and supervise corrections to food safety defectsDevelop team to solve day-to-day food safety issues & reach performance goalsCommunicate cross-functionally to assist the team to solve food safety issuesConduct self-inspection audits and lead all plant auditsEnsure Food Safety training completion for all plant personnelOversee the sanitation, pest control, allergen, and micro programs within the plantManage L05 Quality Supervisor position QualificationsBachelor's DegreeWillingness to work off shifts, weekends, & holidays as neededSAP experience considered an assetDegree preferably in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Science, or related majorDemonstrated leadership abilityHighly motivated self-starterProject management skillsAbility to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make trade-off decisions quicklyAbility to give/receive constructive feedbackAbility to lead a team-based approach to decision makingDemonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environmentEffective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skillWhy work at PepsiCoAt PepsiCo, you’re invited to be a part of a global team of innovators who make, move, and sell these products—which are enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a day.
