The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In this role, you’ll handle vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, as well as assist with minor body work. You’ll contribute to a safe and efficient shop environment and help keep our fleet running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issuesConduct road tests following safe driving practicesAssist with minor body work, including removal and installation of components such as bumpers, fenders and doors Maintain accurate service records and documentationFollow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentSupport fleet maintenance operations and contribute to team successQualificationsRed Seal Certificate in Automotive Service TechnicianMinimum of five years of automotive service experienceStrong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brake systems, fuel, ignition, emission systems, drivetrain components, and HVAC systemsExperience reading automotive schematics and using diagnostic toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple prioritiesStrong time management and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and comply with workplace safety standards, including the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety programValid BC driver’s license with a clean driving recordAt Lordco Auto Parts, we are committed to fostering a culture that celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and prioritizes inclusion in every aspect of our organization.
