What You’ll Do:Provide leadership to the Maintenance Department Coordinate training within the maintenance teamSchedule and oversee the Total Preventative Maintenance program. Ensure TPM KPI’s are 100% completedWork closely with trades staff and Engineering on all machine improvementsCommunicate with all production departments and support departmentsCommunicate and interact with contractors and suppliers Oversee shop supplies and spare parts, motors etc. Track requisition system for all supplies needed for maintenance and projectsAssist in employee evaluationsSchedule and verify completion of all maintenance work ordersResponsible for 24 hr emergency communication with Plant Manager if neededEnsure the shop is neat and organizedWork closely with trades employees and provide support where neededResponsible for maintenance KPI’s to be achievedEnsure that the skilled trades employees have all the necessary tools, parts etc. to perform their jobsAll other relevant duties as neededWhat We're Looking For:Must have Grade 12 or GEDLicensed Millwright or ElectricianMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Automotive SectorMinimum of 2 years’ leadership roleOur team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
