Job Description

Reporting to the VP Operations, the Beekeeping Team Regional Manager (BTRM) is responsible for overseeing Alvéole's Beekeeping Teams and operations in an assigned region. This is a full-time position in accordance with Alvéole's current policies. Start date: September 18, 2023  Roles and Responsibilities The cities that the BTRM (North America - West) would be responsible for would include: British Columbia (Vancouver), Alberta (Calgary & Edmonton), Pacific NorthWest (Seattle), Bay Area (San Francisco), Southwest (Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix), Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin), Denver The BTRM will also be responsible for the direct management of the Beekeeping Field Specialist responsible for their region Lead your region to achieve Alvéole's goals and business objectives Support alignment amongst Teams and Alvéole's mission, vision, and values Oversee daily operations, manage budgets, and set performance objectives for your region's teams Recruit, train, manage, and support Team Managers to achieve their strategic objectives with their respective teams Evaluate performance with regular 1x1s, weekly manager's conferences, and quarterly performance reviews Plan and optimize operations to be efficient, profitable and customer focused Uphold quality assurance measures and standard operating procedures to ensure optimal employee safety and exceptional client experience Deal with escalated customer, employee, and operational issues Assist in the development of essential universal tools, training, and content for the operations team (ex: Classroom, Email Template Library, Managerial Training, Health & Safety Procedures, etc.) Participate as part of middle management to the growth of the company, contributing to the strategic planning and related projects and workgroups Support growth of our new and established markets by connecting with our client base and understanding their needs and expectations Travel periodically to the cities to support operation on all cities in the North America West portfolio and according to the needs of the Team Managers in your region Potential for travel to Montreal or Toronto for strategic planning meetings All other related tasks Skills Results-driven and autonomous Resourceful with a demonstrated ability to anticipate change and proactively adjust priorities and strategies accordingly Comfortable simultaneously managing multiple projects on different timelines while working efficiently under pressure Strong analytical and problem solving skills  Competency with financial models, P&L and Budgets Ability to exercise active listening, empathy, and resolve conflict efficiently Experience and/or knowledge of apiculture/biodiversity/ecology is a strong asset Requirements Willingness to regularly participate in beekeeping runs & occasionally travel between Alvéole's operating cities to connect with clients & their projects Management and/or leadership experience And/or Bachelor's degree in business, customer relationship management, or related field is an asset Proficiency with Mac (Apple) systems and Google tools, CRM systems and project management tools
