Our client is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team in Sidney, BC. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in aircraft manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC milling machines and machining components with Mastercam programming. Experience with lathe machines is also beneficial. While a Red Seal certification is not required, it positively impacts compensation.Pay Range: $27 to $43 (Depending on certifications and experience) Schedule: Determined by the managerMonday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMMonday – Thursday: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AMFriday – Sunday: 6:00 AM – 7:30 PMAdvantages• Work as part of an amazing teamwork environment• Opportunity to grow with the companyResponsibilities• Machine aircraft components, tooling, and other parts from standard and exotic materials using both conventional and CNC equipment. • Operate CNC milling and turning machines. • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards and customer requirements. • Perform part setup and operate machinery effectively. • Work efficiently and safely in a manufacturing environment. • Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. • Conduct in-process inspections to maintain quality standards. • Maintain a clean work area and report any safety concerns to the Supervisor. • Report to the assigned Charge Hand. • Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications• Holding an Inter-Provincial Machinist Trades Qualification or an equivalent certification from a recognized national, state, or provincial body is an asset. • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. • Proficiency in Mastercam programming and CNC programming qualification required. • Must be capable of performing all physical duties required by the department.SummaryTwo easy ways to apply:1.
