We are looking for an Auto Adjuster to join our team in order to provide stationary telephone adjusting services with a key focus on quality and customer service. Does the idea of handling claims for Lifestyle products including collector cars, motor homes(RVs) and snowmobile interest you? If you said “yes” we want you on our teamWhat you'll do:The role is focused on servicing Lifestyle product claims while adhering to the protocols established. As part of this job you will:Review and analyze policies, appraisals and technical reports to assess the value of a claim and negotiate and settle it accordinglyCarry an active pending of Lifestyle Auto claimsEffectively advise and counsel the customer on Specialty product knowledge and provide timely and outstanding customer serviceOperate within designated authority, making independent decisionsMaintain detailed file records according to all outlined protocolsParticipate in projects and provide feedback into processes on an ongoing basisCollaborate with other regional claims teamsWhat you'll bring:Minimum 1-2 years claims adjusting experience, property and/or autoDemonstrate a passion for Lifestyle claimsIt is considered an asset if you:Have completed or are working towards completion of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP / FCIP)Have a post-secondary diploma or degreeHave experience handling claims for specialty products including travel trailers and watercraft, seasonal dwellingsWhat You’ll Get:Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.Outstanding Career Development opportunities.We’ll support your professional development education.Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per yearEmployee driven programs focused on gender, LGBTQ+, origins, diversity and inclusionCorporate wellness programs to support our employees’ physical and mental healthPlease note that we may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process.
