Position SummaryWe are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a Casual position at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes. Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 30-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER and Maternity. Services include:• Acute Care • Internal medicine• Internal Medicine • Ultrasound• CT scans • Surgery• Emergency department • Extended care• Pediatrics • Radiology• Obstetrics • GynecologyAdditional services such as Diabetes Education, Healthy Heart and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and other visiting specialists. Prince Rupert is a marine-based port city with one-of-a-kind wilderness exploration and wildlife viewing experiences on northwest BC’s Pacific Coast.
