We are currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, ON.Why Work at Brock? Competitive compensation package Profit sharing Extended Health benefits Continuous career growth Mentorship program Flexible working hours Company events and celebrations Travel opportunitiesWhat You’ll Do Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deploy & configuresoftware to customer test and production environments Configure and setup server hardware and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, Bluetooth Devices) Modify product code to meet the customer's unique needs Demonstrate complete integrated system with key external stakeholders during Functional Acceptance Testing & On-site System Testing Not just an office job, travel to site to see your work in action (depending on project, up-to 25%). Root Cause Analysis of defects identified in production. Limited on call rotating support escalation (10%) Maintain, develop, and improve our automated test and deployment tools Other duties as assigned by Project Manager Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields 1-3 years experience (co-op considered) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong Troubleshooting skills Proficiency withSQL & knowledge of databases Experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. C# is preferred but Java, C++, or other languages are also acceptable. Knowledge of Flyway, Powershell, Azure Devops, Python, Ignition is an asset The ability to travel & perform night/weekend work Other Job Information (if applicable): Brock Solutions strives to create a respectful, accessible, and inclusive work environment.
