Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Journeyman to join our team in Vaughan for the morning shift. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and systems to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent technical skills, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship, this is the opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems, or HVAC components based on your trade qualification. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules. Complete accurate and timely documentation, including work orders, maintenance reports, and safety logs. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures. Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately. Requirements: Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) in your trade (e.g., Millwright 433A, Electrician 309A, Refrigeration Mechanic 313A). Minimum of 3 years’ journeyman experience in a commercial or industrial environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift to 50 lbs and work comfortably in various conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments. Proficient in reading technical documents and using digital tools for reporting. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Benefits: Competitive pay of $42 per hour.
