However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.About the roleOur team is looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to support the development of new high-value features within our mobile applications. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of designers, product managers, and developers whose mission is to offer innovative solutions to our clients, complementing their insurance products. This high-profile project, enjoying significant executive visibility, presents an exceptional opportunity to make a real difference for our clients and communities across the country What you’ll do here:Analyze business needs to define IT solutions. Lead / prepare / participate in business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions. Make impact analysis and effort estimates to advocate, get approval, then document the IT solution using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT project team. Support the development of solutions and monitor the velocity of the team. Support test quality assurance activities and user acceptance tests. Support Product Owners in handling their backlogs and prioritize work to be done. Act as a representative of the product manager during certain meetings to clearly communicate the product objectives and requirements to our delivery stakeholders. Document User Stories effectively so they can be clearly understood by Front End, Back End developers and Quality Assurance. Identify and convey the impacts on Business processes to support change management in Business units via train the trainer documents and procedures. Build a solid, reusable and thorough system documentation to be used by any stakeholders. Define and optimize the business analysis processes for the team. What you bring to the table:Bachelor's degree in a related field, or any combination of equivalent education and experience Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience Project experiences in Scrum mode Experience and knowledge in the insurance field is an asset. Experience and knowledge of mobile and native application environments. A combination of expertise in business analysis and technical analysis. It is essential to understand business objectives in order to translate them into technical requirements. Ability to thrive in an exploratory environment.
