Your Opportunity:South Zone Medical Affairs is looking for Associate Physicians to assist the General Internal Medicine Dept at Chinook Regional Hospital. Associate Physicians play an important role in the delivery of health care. This is an alternate physician provider role in which the successful candidate will work with a limited medical license issued from the College of Physician and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). The incumbent will work within with the Hospital under the direction of an attending physician and within a multidisciplinary team setting to deliver acute patient care. Description: This is an alternate provider role in which the successful candidate will obtain a limited medical license issued from the College of Physician and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and will work under the direction of a supervising physician within a multidisciplinary team setting to deliver acute patient care. Responsibilities may include admissions, discharge planning, ordering diagnostics, and overall Patient and Family Centered Care.
