Description :Major Job FunctionsTrouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairsInterface with customers, products and sales supportWorking with the Supervisor on various tasksProviding support with reference to on-site safety requirementsMaintain Finning Customer Service CommitmentVarious related duties as requiredSpecific Skills & ExperienceJourneyperson Welder CertificationJourneyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification or willing to work towards Heavy Equipment Technician CertificationExperience as a Heavy Duty Technician would be considered an assetDedication to safetyStrong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbalUnderstanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an assetEngine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an assetTransmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an assetExperience with Lawson, SIS (Service Information System) and warranty systems considered assetsNote:This shop position is on a 7x7 shift rotation based out of our Fort McMurray townshop facilityCandidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective AgreementPlease note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective AgreementAt Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
