We’re seeking a driven and experienced Intermediate Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our growing team in Burnaby, BC. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled professional in municipal or development engineering who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take the next step in their career.You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative infrastructure solutions that make a lasting impact, working alongside a dynamic team of industry experts who value creativity, precision, and teamwork.What a day at EXP has in store for youLead and support the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including roads, water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.Design servicing solutions for new developments, including lot grading, utility layout, and integration with existing infrastructure.Prepare engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, developers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.Conduct site inspections and provide construction support services.Assist in proposal development and contribute to business development efforts.Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture.What your experience looks likeBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.5–8 years of relevant experience in municipal and/or development engineering, with a focus on new development servicing.Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer ( with EGBC.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.Strong understanding of municipal standards, development processes, and regulatory requirements.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Experience managing small to mid-sized projects is an asset.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Flexible work environment with hybrid options.A collaborative and inclusive team culture.Apply TodayIf you're passionate about building sustainable communities and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions, we’d love to hear from you.The salary range for this role is between $115K - $140K.
