We have an opportunity in our Toronto office for a Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The Opportunity: We have an opportunity in our Toronto office for a Junior Interior Designer to join our team. We are looking for a talented and creative individual to support our exciting portfolio of stand-alone and integrated projects. At the junior level, our Interior Designers are exposed to all aspects of the project process, from conceptual design to producing drawings, researching materials, and presentations. Here’s what you’ll be doing at Kasian: Work directly with senior team members on the design process, including creating design concepts and presentation material Prepare colour and material boards, layouts, sketches, 3d renderings, and space plans required to convey design intent Produce design and contract documentation in alignment with Kasian’s standards of quality, client program and budget needs Contribute to design, production, and visioning meetings Attend meetings and communicate with clients alongside an intermediate or senior designer as required Meet and develop relationships with product reps Provide product research and selection What you bring to Kasian: CIDA-accredited Degree in Interior Design 2 years of interior design experience Working towards obtaining NCIDQ certification Technical drawing experience with Revit and AutoCAD Excellent graphic communication and presentation skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Knowledge of furniture systems What We Offer: A creative and collaborative environment National project exposure and opportunity to support high-profile pursuits Mentorship and learning opportunities in business strategy and development Great office location with easy access to public transport Flexibility and work-life balance in a values-driven workplace Ready to be part of a leading architectural and interior design firm?
