Our expertise includes aircraft interior, structural, manufacturing, and maintenance solutions for OEMs, MROs, and operators across North America.We offer carefully designed programs and benefits, including time-off, insurance, and other plans, to support our teams and meet evolving operational and regulatory requirements.Position SummaryThe organization is seeking an M2 Mechanic Licensed Technician to be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and repairing various mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on aircraft.Key ResponsibilitiesDetect structural, mechanical, or hydraulic aircraft problems and adjust and repair them according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and procedures.Repair and overhaul structural, mechanical, or hydraulic aircraft systems.Install and modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems such as mechanical and hydraulic systems, flight control, fuel systems, and pneumatic systems.Dismantle airframes, engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, return them to serviceable condition, clean, and reassemble them.Perform routine maintenance, report/write up defects, and order required parts.Check aircraft structural and mechanical systems and ensure that these systems meet the performance and safety standards of Transport Canada and the organization.Monitor quality of operations, identify anomalies, and make necessary corrections.Perform surveys of parameters; read and interpret the parameters.Actively participate in the organization’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand and promote the company safety policy.Keep detailed reports on the repair, inspection, and certification of aircraft.Performance ObjectivesTeamwork – Collaborates with colleagues to achieve results and is also comfortable working independently.Building trust – Operates with integrity, discloses own positions, remains open to ideas, and supports others through dignity, respect, and fairness.Building relationships and partnerships – Develops and leverages relationships within and across teams to achieve results.Communication – Conveys information and ideas clearly and concisely to individuals or groups in an engaging manner.Quality orientation – Accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how detailed.Sound professional judgement – Applies strong analytical and decision-making skills to solve problems.Education and ExperienceWorking towards or have a valid Transport Canada M2 license.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance.737 NG / Max and/or Embraer 170/190 endorsements are an asset.Clear understanding of manufacturers’ and regulatory documentation, including Service Bulletins, Engineering Drawings, etc., and ensuring thorough application of technical documentation.Ability to meet quality, cost, and time commitments.Proficiency in reading drawings and applying technical documentation rigorously.Clear understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS).Extensive knowledge and skilled use of trade tools and processes.Mastery in the use of complex equipment for testing.Must have own set of tools and toolbox (specialty and calibrated tools provided).Why Join the OrganizationInnovative and entrepreneurial culture encourages employee input at all levels.Learning and career development programs provide employees with the tools and resources needed to build their careers.Commitment to supporting communities and promoting diversity and inclusion.Working ConditionsWork on the hangar floor.Shift work.Overtime may be required.
