As a Security Guard with Securiguard in Campbell River, you'll be more than a uniformed presence-you'll represent safety, professionalism, and reliability at a high-profile industrial site. This role is ideal for individuals who are attentive, dependable, and confident in maintaining a secure and professional environment.In addition to core security responsibilities, you will also support supervisory functions, including performing site visits, attending client meetings, and managing field-related phone calls and emails. Security Guards play a key role in ensuring safety and comfort by providing visible deterrence, responding promptly to incidents, supporting day-to-day site operations, and assisting with oversight to ensure consistent service quality across the site.Location:Campbell RiverPay Rate:$24/hrWork Hours:Thursday & Friday: 0600-1400Saturday & Sunday: 1400-2200plus ONE 8 hour shift to perform supervisor tasks: including site visits, client meetings, field phone calls and emails Responsibilities:Perform site visits, client meetings and field phone calls and emailsProvide excellent customer service to both the client and site visitorsRespond to incident/emergency situations and follow required protocolsCoordinate with the police or emergency personnel when requiredProvide visual security presenceDetect and deter unauthorized personsProvide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the sitePatrol designated areas and scan check points in an outdoor environment Conduct radio check ins, alarm response and security report writing dutiesIdentify and report safety hazardsPerform regularly scheduled site duties as required by client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Report Frequent shift activities and security breachesSubmit a daily written reportMaintain consistent records using company issued notebookShare and align with Securiguard's core Values - Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy & HonestyRequirements:Valid BC Security LicenseValid BC Class 5 Drivers License Excellent customer service and communicationMust be comfortable being able to work alone and in group settingsMust be comfortable working 8 hour shiftsSigning Bonus:We are currently offering a $500 signing bonus payable for employees hired with a valid BC Security License to work at our sites at Campbell River, BC. The bonus is paid after 3 months of employment.
