Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: Climate Change and Sustainability Research: Prepare internal reports to support Global Sustainable Business projects and climate subject matter expertise, across business lines and operations. Reports may include: reviews of industry activities, peer bank comparisons (benchmarking), assessments of best practices and frameworks, and executive briefing memos, Project Support: Support the development and execution of sustainability projects across the bank (in Canada and internationally). This will include scheduling, project management and supporting tasks that aim to advance Scotiabank’s climate commitments, including Scotiabank’s Climate Action Research Fund and other key projects related to sustainability. Technical expertise: Support the Global Sustainable Business team on the preparation and execution of key deliverables with proficient use of the Microsoft Suite including familiarity with SharePoint and information management and analysis in PowerPoint and Excel. Support other duties as assigned. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Strong research skills Strong organizational and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail Ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently Strategic thinker Comfortable with ambiguity Proficient in Microsoft Office Fluency in Spanish is an asset What’s in it for you?
