Title: Data Protection and DLP Analyst – Microsoft Purview Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 6 Months Salary Range: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Introduction Join our team as an Analyst specializing in data protection and data loss prevention (DLP) with Microsoft Purview. This role is critical in ensuring the security and compliance of our data management practices, focusing on unstructured data within MS 365 and SharePoint environments. Required Skills & Qualifications 5 years of experience with Microsoft Purview. Expertise in Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Console and Management. Experience in enabling DLP for MS 365 and SharePoint, focusing on unstructured data. Proficiency in data protection security policies and standards. Experience in handling operational tasks, identifying SIT, and fine-tuning policies to reduce false positives. Bilingual in English and French. Microsoft Purview Certification. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Expertise in change management and audit features. Ability to create FAQs and content related to data protection. Experience in transitioning policies to audit and surveillance modes. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Manage and oversee the data protection policies within Microsoft Purview. Work on reducing false positives and enhancing the efficiency of data loss prevention measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data security standards.
