Your Role as a Water Resources Professional (Stormwater) Choose your own adventure Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As a Water Resources Professional (Stormwater), your role will include: Work with an established, collaborative team of engineers, technologists, GIS Technicians and support staff to develop innovative stormwater and servicing solutions to support urban land development projects. Use state-of-the-art stormwater modelling software (PCSWMM, ArcGIS Pro, HEC-RAS, etc.) to advance innovative, integrated solutions to complex servicing challenges, including dual-drainage modelling, watershed modelling, hydrology/hydraulic modelling, culvert modelling, pond designs —from master planning through to detailed design and construction of engineering solutions and LID practices. Develop stormwater and/or wastewater models to support master planning of linear infrastructure to support growth in existing or new communities. Investigate flooding risks along storm and sanitary sewer systems as well as identifying floodplain areas. Deliver thoughtful design solutions, developing new business, and working with clients to ensure their expectations are met.
