Job DescriptionTenold Transportation is an established business that operates independently under the umbrella of Mullen Group Ltd., one of Canada's largest logistics providers. Tenold has been in operation for over 56 years and offers a wide range of services including less-than-truckload, truckload, warehousing, trans-load, and logistics. We have a solid client base, experienced sales, customer service and dispatch teams to serve our fleet. Position Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced, Class 1 Owner Operators with heavy-spec tractors to haul Super B, B-Train, and Aspen Double Drop/Lowboy trailers across BC and Alberta. This position requires 3–5 years of commercial driving experience and proven mountain driving experience.RequirementsThe successful applicant must meet the following qualifications and requirements:Located in the Fraser Valley or Lower Mainland Class 1 Driver’s License with a minimum of 5 years’ experienceSuper B flat deck and double drop/lowboy experience – minimum 2 years requiredTDG and Hazwaste knowledge and experience are an assetKnowledge of HOS and NSC rules and regulationsClean commercial driver abstract Have your own WorkSafe BC (WCB) account in good standing Have verifiable commercial driving experience in highways, mountains and off-road Can chain up axles and perform all required duties Have knowledge to properly secure various LTL and TL cargoYour truck will be:Heavy spec tractor capable of hauling Super B/B-Train and double drop configurations,2015 or newer truck with a sleeper bunkEquipped with appropriate chains and tie-down equipment for heavy haul operations.*** PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A HEAVY SPEC VEHICLE ***BenefitsFuel Cards and National Tire Accounts with discounted rates offered (with no administrative surcharge)Tenold Transportation Ltd. is committed to equity as an ongoing process which ensures equality of opportunity and strives to create a qualified workforce that represents the diversity of our community.
