We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable temporary part time Warehouse Worker for our client in Kamloops, BC. The successful candidate will begin in a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including picking, packing, and staging items, as well as managing inventory and assisting sales representatives. This role requires a blend of physical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.Position: Branch Warehouse WorkerLocation: Kamloops, BCEmployment Type: Full-time Temporary position with the potential to become permanent Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to FridayBreaks: One-hour lunch breakWage: $20 - $23 per hour*************************************Please note this a temporary postion for 1-2 months but can go longer************************************************Advantages• Competitive hourly wage• Opportunity to work with a supportive team• Gain valuable experience in warehouse and inventory managementResponsibilities• Accurately pick, stage, pack, and put away inventory items.• Audit and record inventory movement, correcting any discrepancies.• Conduct and assist with cycle counts and year-end inventory counts.• Investigate and resolve inventory variances and stock-out issues in collaboration with the sales team.• Assist in developing training materials for warehouse operations and inventory control.• Ensure strict adherence to inventory control standard operating procedures (SOPs) and all health and safety policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).• Safely and efficiently complete all daily shipping, receiving, and administrative tasks.• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external inventory questions.• Provide support for counter sales as needed to cover vacations or overflow.Qualifications• High School Diploma• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, as well as stand, walk, and bend.• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.• Strong attention to detail and active listening skills.• Reliable with excellent attendance and a strong, independent work ethic.• Effective and professional communication skills for interacting with coworkers and customers.• Basic English language proficiency for reading and writing.• 1-2 years of previous warehouse distribution experience is considered an asset.SummaryTwo easy ways to apply:1.
