STATUS: Temporary - duration 1 year - 3 positions available JOB POSTING NUMBER: 1881 POSTING PERIOD: Indeterminate SALARY: Class 8 – from $55,827.92 to $85,889.08 / year SCHEDULE: 33.00 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to THURSDAY - 08:15 to 17:30 - A WORK MODE: In-person WORK LOCATION: Within the territory of Laval The challenges that await you Perform various technical tasks involving the layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of communication, emergency, and other specialized equipment for police use. Identify and resolve issues specific to different types of vehicles and equipment in order to achieve standardization.The ideal profile for us Hold a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in the field of electronics, electromechanics, or automotive electricity or any other related field; Have twelve (12) months of relevant experience in the role, including layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of specialized emergency equipment for various types of emergency vehicles or relevant experience in a related field; Hold a valid class 5 driver's license (class 4A is an asset) Skills Ability to work as part of a team Autonomy Results-oriented Integrity Open-mindedness Learning orientation Analytical skills Customer-oriented Attention to detail The benefits of being part of our team Choosing the City of Laval means working for the third largest city in Quebec on diverse and stimulating projects.
