What you’ll do : Perform all duties associated with the loading of petroleum products. Such as gasoline, diesel asphalt, slurry, gas oil, propane, butane, sulphur, and other related commodities from general direction provided by the Supervisor. Performs housekeeping duties as required. Ensures loading activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner relative to Dangerous Goods Regulations, safety rules, and applicable loading procedures. Other duties as assigned. Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will work closely with the PDD Loading Team and will report to the Petroleum Loading Supervisor. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and: Have a good mechanical aptitude, an understanding of tank car loading operations, and the physical ability to carry out the duties is required. Have a Grade 12 diploma. Have a valid driver’s license. What we offer: A starting wage of $55.33 (Tank Car Loader – 24 Hour) or $48.74 (Tank Car Helper), pending on qualifications, as per the collective bargaining agreement with UNIFOR Canada local union 594.
