We aim for excellence. What We OfferCompetitive salary, vacation, benefits, and an RRSP matching programAIM’s annual tuition scholarship program of up to $8,500 per eligible dependentThe tools and support you need to succeed in your career and professional developmentA dynamic and rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun Job DescriptionUnder the authority of the Supervisor, the crane operator performs various material loading operations using heavy machinery (crane), as well as any other material handling tasks that require the use of their machine and related accessories.What You Will Be Responsible ForOperating various types of machinery (crane, wheel loader, forklift, shredder, etc.) as neededLoading and unloading trucks with the craneGreeting customers courteously while following our procedures and requirementsParticipating in the unloading of materialsSorting different metals according to their characteristicsOrganizing the yard’s metal receiving and shipping activitiesAdding information about the load and/or completing a report in the RECY softwareEnsuring cleanliness of the premisesPerforming any other related tasksQualificationsTo join the team:You have one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar positionYou have knowledge of metal recyclingYou have experience with heavy machinery (asset) — on‑site training providedYou demonstrate safe and professional behaviorYou are versatile and resourcefulYou have strong teamwork skillsYou have excellent priority management skillsYou provide outstanding customer service
