Together, the following benefits reflect our core purpose: helping people get there – safely, sustainably, and successfully.Competitive base salary: $27 to $30 per hour Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefitsCompetitive RRSP program with company matching, helping you plan for a secure and successful retirementPolicies and programs that support a balanced lifestyleDiscounts for you and your family on tires, parts, and services at all Fountain Tire locationsKey Responsibilities:Lead the shipping and receiving operations of the FTMS distribution team Coordinate the processing of outgoing products; preparing and loading material in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlinesArranging the transportation of materials as required, ensuring tracking of outgoing products is accurate, and achieving customer commitmentsCreate and ensure adherence to shipping schedules for large seasonal shipments, new mine site operations or de-mobilization of mine operations Ensure end to end warehouse processes are completed and adhered to by warehouse associatesResolve distribution issues by working directly with other departments, and /or the customer.Resolve employee issues with non-biased opinions, while adhering to Human Resource policiesWhat does it take to get on track? Completion of a High School diploma and 5 years of experience in the distribution industry in a leadership roleA combination of education and experience may be consideredDistribution and Supply Chain courses and certificates are considered a strong assetWorking knowledge of materials handling equipment, forklift operation and distribution centre processes.Demonstrated ability to motivate a team to achieve operational performance measurement targetsBasic computer skills to successfully complete required learning and safety courses, as well as basic functionality in D365.A customer service approach with the ability to meet deadlines and provide solutions to sensitive matters.At Fountain Tire, you would have a great place to work If you’re a proactive and skilled Shipping and Receiving professional looking to make a difference in a supportive and dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply online today
