We are hiring a Production Supervisor (Area Manager Bathing) for our Afternoon Shift (Monday-Thursday, 4 Day work week, 3 days weekend)

Production Supervisor (Area Manager) is a member of the Operations Management team reporting to the Operations Manager. The role is responsible for leading production employees and ensuring safety, quality and production targets are met in a Lean environment.

What You Will Do

Supervise a staff of 5 lead hand and 40 hourly employees (Team in total) Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and advising personnel on safe work practices to meet Safety and 5S targets Meet quality targets through the participation and leading improvements in all aspects of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost through the use of daily management, various Quality and Lean tools, and Process Problem Solving. Ensure execution of the production plan to meet customer demand. Participate in Lean Glass house and COQ to meet TCP targets Communicate monthly talks to the hourly employees regarding policies, procedures and other changes. Coordinate required inquires for all team members. Responsible for employee training and tracking of new hires and cross-training Verify production entries, troubleshoot and audit daily reports Conduct new employee evaluations during the probationary period

What You Will Bring

Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience working in manufacturing, preferably in a lean environment CI/ process development background is an asset Experience to lead and motivate teams Proven experience in a similar role (unionized experience is an asset) Computer skills and computer aptitude Effective communication and collaborative skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment strong communication skills - oral and written.
