Unit SummaryThe McMaster Children’s Hospital Autism Program is an ambulatory service for autistic children and youth. These services have strong links to McMaster University’s Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry, McMaster Autism Research Team (MacART) and the Offord Centre for Child Studies. Position SummaryAs a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Speech-Language Pathologist will provide assessment and treatment services to autistic children and youth within the Ontario Autism Program.  Schedule Work HoursMonday to Friday; days (some evening and occasional weekend work may be required) Qualifications1. Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario2. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology3. Minimum of three years’ experience working with children and youth with autism and their families4. Comprehensive knowledge of communication and social development and communication, speech and language delays/disorders5. Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting6. Demonstrated excellent organizational and time management skills7. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends8. Willingness to participate in criminal reference check9. Fluency in French will be considered an asset10.
