Wood is currently recruiting for a Fabric Maintenance Engineering student for the 2026 Summer Semester to work in our St. John’s office. #LI-Onsite The Role The Fabric Maintenance team is responsible for managing the on-going repair and maintenance of the Hibernia Platform. The team is primarily focused on ensuring the integrity of the Platform and extending the operational life of the facilities and structural assets. The team develops and executes remediation plans on inspection reports, condition assessments, and general wear and tear that occurs throughout the platform. The ideal individual will be eager to learn, highly motivated, and have excellent attention to detail. Expected: Currently enrolled in a University Engineering co-op program Excellent verbal and communications skills Excellent technical writing skill Offshore and Oil and Gas knowledge is preferred Team focused attitude with a commitment to quality Innovative problem-solving mindset Strong safety orientation Strong relationship management and communication skills Ability to interact with multidiscipline personnel in engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors and client representatives on project-related topics Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple and conflicting priorities Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook undefined
