They work closely with our MGA partners to develop unique solutions for all classes of riskThe Underwriting Specialist is responsible for underwriting and servicing increasingly complex accounts in accordance with established guidelines and business objectives in the achievement of national standards for data quality and service level agreements. On this team you will be responsible for managing and growing our national Auto Dealers program. Our Underwriting Specialists are experts in their field and passionate about growing our book of business with responsible and sustainable risks. Working in a collaborative team, there is the opportunity to coach and mentor junior colleagues and further develop your skills from our more experienced underwriters to help grow your appetite of complex risks.We want your talentIf you are great at:Underwriting Property, Casualty & Commercial AutoSales and negotiationsSolutions orientatedDeveloping and maintaining professional relationship with our MGAs and/or customersCoaching and mentoring more junior underwriters on teamIf you have:5+ years of Underwriting experienceCompleted, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designationsStrong customer service backgroundTeam-first mentalityWe really mean it when we say we put you first. The base salary range for this role is $96,000 - $144,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position.
