Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of diffferent candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well. Come be part of a team that values innovation, customer orientation, and continuous improvement.What you'll do here:Support the development team on operational aspects of data pipeline.Ensure security and promote secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure data solutions.Utilize AWS services (S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, SQS, SNS, Cost explorer) to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure.Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins to manage AWS, GCP (Bigquery and GCS)Work with Databricks and Snowflake to manage and analyze large datasets.Contribute to our Agile/Scrum processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Engage in creative problem-solving to address complex data challenges.What you bring to the table: 5 to 8 years experience in a DevOps role with a background in software engineering.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any combination of education and equivalent experience.Experience in development and operation (DevOps) in a cloud environment.5 years of experience in an AWS cloud environment, with in-depth knowledge of S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, Data Backup, AWS Backup.Excellent hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.Proficiency in PythonExperience in a Databricks and Snowflake environment is a significant asset.Experience in a Big Data context is an asset.Experience in security or SecOps is a significant asset.A Software Engineering Mindset focusing on operation and security.Passionate about technology and eager to learn and grow.A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.Customer-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-value solutions.Creative and innovative, with strong problem-solving skills.Adaptable and flexible, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented, ensuring high standards of quality and precision in your work.For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
