Sharp Trucking Services/Contrans Tank Group is looking for experienced A/Z Drivers to haul across Northern Ontario. We have year round work, which means there is no slow months and no spring break up that you have to financially plan for. What is in it for you? We believe that all driver’s should be compensated for all hours worked. Whether that is driving, loading, unloading, resetting on the road, or washing your truck. Additionally, being paid by the hour, means you receive overtime after 10 hours per day. No more lane pay, no more free time waiting for a mobile mechanic to fix your tire We are looking to add to our team of others who believe in a safe, productive work culture, and we cant wait to hear from you if this aligns with what your looking for. Paid orientation and training of $1,000.00 Benefits 80% employer 20% employee cost available upon completion of probationary period Sign on bonus - $500 paid upon first dispatch, $500 paid upon completion of probationary period Driver referral program incentives Sharp Cup incentives for safe and efficient driving practices Earning potential of 95k - 130k + Flexible dispatch Consistent lanes in Northern Ontario and Quebec Stable, year-round full-time employment across multiple industries and commercial sectors What you’ll need to join us: Tanker experience with off road experience is an asset Hauling explosives is an asset Knowledge of mines in Ontario and Quebec Able to drive a Manual transmission Must be physically fit. You must apply with a 5-year drivers' abstract and be willing to complete of a criminal background check, pre-employment drug & alcohol test, and fit test.
