We have a full-time pharmacist position (32 to 40 hours per week) available in our location at 3756 10 Avenue, Port Alberni, British Columbia.
The hourly wage is $60.00 - $63.00. Your duties will include:Check prescriptions for proper dosageEnsure proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, serums, biologicals and other drugs and pharmaceuticalsDispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals and advise them on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosageAdvise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medicationMaintain medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugsCompound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring and mixing the quantities of drugs and other ingredients required and filling appropriate containers with correct quantityThe successful candidate must be a licensed Pharmacist in Canada.
