Site Superintendent – ICI New BuildWelland, ON$110K–$150K Depending on Experience + Vehicle Allowance + BenefitsA reputable ICI General Contractor is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to take over a large, ground-up commercial project in Welland. The project is currently in the structural steel stage, and they need someone confident stepping into an active site, bringing structure, and driving execution through to completion.About the RoleYou’ll lead all on-site construction activities for a major grocery retail build. This role suits someone who is strong with scheduling, trade coordination, safety enforcement, and solving problems on complex, fast-moving projects.What You Will Be DoingOversee daily site operations from structural steel through to close-outCoordinate trades, enforce safety standards, and maintain a well-run siteUpdate schedules, monitor risks, and ensure milestones remain on trackWork closely with the Project Manager, consultants, inspectors, and internal teamsMaintain quality control and ensure work meets specificationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholdersWhat You Bring5–10+ years of Site Superintendent experience on ICI new-build constructionExperience with large commercial builds (grocery, retail, warehouse, big-box, etc.)Proven ability to take over an active site and quickly establish structure and stabilityStrong understanding of structural steel, envelope, and interior construction sequencesExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsValid health & safety certifications (WHMIS, Working at Heights, Supervisor H&S, etc.)
