Specific accountabilities include: 1) Occupational Health Case Coordinator for Employees 2) Attendance Management 3) Health and Safety (including support for Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee) 4) Coverage for Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator Requirements: Certifications and Registrations ·Must be a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing ·Possess or be willing to obtain an Occupational Health Nursing Certification ·Willing to obtain ongoing education to develop required expertise in occupational health Experience ·At least two years clinical experience in a hospital setting ·Must have excellent communication skills in English, bilingualism preferred ·Advanceskillsinphysicalassessment General Skills ·Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills ·Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills ·Strong work ethic and positive team attitude ·Demonstrated computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook ·Knowledge and understanding of the OHSA and workers’ compensation legislation ·Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize ·Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail ·Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives ·Flexibility and ability to function effectively under changing demands ·Excellent attendance record and punctuality ·Demonstrated ongoing professional growth and development ·Excellent analytical skills
