 Position: Millwright Journeyperson - Suncor Fort Hills - Maintenance  Project Type: Maintenance Project Location: Suncor Forthills, Fort McMurray  Shift: Day or Night  Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, 12 hours/day  Accommodations: Camp Travel Details: Fly to and from site GC: Graham Allied Partner: Heartland Constructors Inc. Reference Number: 30067   Jardeg is recruiting a Millwright Journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors team at Suncor Fort Hills near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a temporary position on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, 12 hours/day with alternating days/nights shift rotation. This is a fly-in/fly-out position with camp accommodation provided. Millwrights install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in sites such as factories, production plants and recreational facilities. Responsibilities: Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work proceduresOperate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and partsFit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerancesAlign and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustmentsPerform predictive and operational proceduresRepair or replace defective partsService and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systemsMay do some tack welding (a weld that is adequate in size to temporarily hold components in place until it can be completely welded by a registered apprentice welder or a Journeyperson welder) and fabrication as well as maintain an inventory of replacement parts Minimum Requirements: 4th year Millwright Apprentice certificate or Certified Millwright Journeyperson ticketOil and Gas experience is a must haveLive plant maintenance experience is a must haveEnergy Safety Canada approved Elevated Work PlatformEnergy Safety Canada approved Fall ProtectionEnergy Safety Canada approved Confined SpaceEnergy Safety Canada approved H2S Awareness or H2S AliveMask Fit TestSatisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol TestValid Class 5 Drivers License Perks Overtime available during turnaround season, vacation or school coverageCamp Accommodation Flights provided out of Edmonton and Calgary    COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY At Jardeg, we power the workforce behind Graham and its trusted workforce partners, recruiting skilled trades and construction professionals who help deliver complex projects across Canada.
