Mechanical & Electrical Project CoordinatorGeneral Contractor Vancouver, BCInstitutional / Healthcare Project$80,000 - $100,000 A leading construction team is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Project Coordinator to support a large, complex institutional project. This role focuses specifically on the mechanical and electrical scopes, supporting planning, coordination, execution, and closeout.Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be a key part of a collaborative team, ensuring seamless integration of M&E systems from early coordination through commissioning and turnover. The RoleSupport planning and coordination of on-site M&E activitiesMaintain and update M&E schedulesManage RFIs, shop drawings, change documentation, and closeout materialsAssist with review of monthly M&E progress drawsPrepare M&E change orders and track CCNs/SIsCoordinate M&E procurement alongside the project teamFacilitate M&E coordination and resolve clashes with tradesMaintain up-to-date drawings and specificationsAssist with M&E coordination meetingsCoordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of fire, life safety, and building systemsSupport QA/QC for M&E installationsTrack deficiencies and support occupancy and turnover documentationProvide ongoing support to trades, commissioning agents, and third-party consultants What They’re Looking ForPost-secondary diploma or degree in Construction Management or Engineering3+ years of experience as an M&E Project CoordinatorStrong experience on institutional, hospital, or medical projectsSolid understanding of M&E systems, drawings, specifications, and construction processesExperience with RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and contract documentationStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to work collaboratively with trades, consultants, and clientsProficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS ProjectExperience with Procore considered a strong assetBIM experience including Navisworks, Revit, and clash detection is an asset Interested?Apply belowOnly applicants with the legal right to work in Canada can be considered for this opportunity.We thank all those who express interest in this opportunity however only those short-listed we be contacted.
