Job Description The is seeking a team-oriented and professional Dermatologist to join our dynamic and expanding Department of Medicine. The specialist would join the Saskatchewan Health Authority – Regina Area on a fee-of-service basis. The specialist would join Dermatologists who currently provide service in an office-based setting, have admitting and consulting privileges in the acute care setting, and who also provide services at the phototherapy clinic. The University of Saskatchewan is a research-intensive institution with 22,000 students and 7,000 faculty and staff, and a strong reputation for innovation and excellence. The College of Medicine has an intake of 100 students per year with a commensurate number of positions for residency training. The Department of Medicine has distributed training sites in Saskatoon and Regina. The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Medicine and Division of Dermatology in the Regina Area and will be appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Job Qualifications Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the in Dermatology. Applicants will be eligible for provisional or regular licensure from the . This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
