Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Laboratory Services Department.The primary location for this position is: Alexandra Hospital IngersollQualifications:Certification with Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.Current registration or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario with authorization to practice relevant specialties in Laboratory Medicine.Minimum two years' experience in a medical laboratory preferredDemonstrated computer literacy (i.e. Cerner); Ability to work with minimal supervision;Demonstrated accuracy, organizational and multi-tasking skills; Ability to collaborate, develop and maintain effective relationships within healthcare teams; Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to personal, patient and staff safety; Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis; Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.Other pertinent conditions:Must be available to work all shifts as required, which may include; weekends, statutory holidays, days, evenings and night shifts and ability to work On-Call.
