You’ll collaborate with industry experts and gain hands-on experience in both office and field environments. The Mechanical group is comprised of a group of professional engineers, designers and technologists. Our goal is to achieve no harm for our people, our clients, and our communities. As the successful candidate, you will:Apply engineering principles to design and analyze mechanical and piping systems for industrial applicationsCollaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver project solutionsPrepare equipment specification packages and construction work packages for local and global projectsGain expertise in mechanical equipment, piping systems, analytical tools, and industrial processesParticipate in office and site safety training and inductions to support office and site activitiesPerform field verification and provide field support during construction.Be open to travel and work at other Hatch offices or project sites, including remote locations You bring to the role:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (recent graduate or graduating by 2026)Strong academic performance and active involvement in extracurricular or community activitiesPrevious co-op, internship, or summer work experience in mechanical engineering is an assetFamiliarity with tools such as AFT Fathom, Ansys, Sidewinder, MathCAD, or Bentley MicroStation is an advantage   Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):Solid understanding of engineering and business fundamentals Quick learner who thrives in dynamic environments Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Highly organized with keen attention to detail Creative problem-solver who delivers practical solutions Adaptable and open to change  Note: Applicants must submit a transcript (official or unofficial) upon application.  Why join us?Work with great people to make a differenceCollaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutionsTop employerWhat we offer you? Flexible work environmentLong term career developmentThink globally, work locally Don't meet every single requirement?
