STATUS: Temporary DISPLAY NUMBER: 598 DISPLAY PERIOD: Indeterminate SALARY: Class 11 – from $64,514.92 to $99,253.73 / year SCHEDULE: 33.00 hours per week, DAY; TUESDAY to FRIDAY - 08:15 to 17:30 - B WORK MODE: In-person WORK LOCATION: Laval The challenges that await you Under the supervision of the Sewer and Watermain Division Chief, you will perform various technical tasks, including inspecting service connection entries and drainage systems according to current standards and regulations. You will also carry out various technical and analytical tasks, investigations, and inspections necessary for the development of technical compliance or non-compliance reports for various installations related to wastewater collection networks, stormwater collection networks including stormwater management facilities (OGEP), potable water distribution networks, and service entries such as: Participate in the planning of upgrade and maintenance projects for stormwater infrastructure including OGEPS; Conduct inspections and technical surveys in the field using surveying tools for OGEPS and stormwater networks; Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance and upkeep program for stormwater management infrastructure including OGEPS; Assist in estimating maintenance and upgrade costs for OGEPS; Monitor the execution of contracts on-site; Ensure that the work meets contract specifications and identify deficiencies; Produce site reports and project follow-ups; Ensure operational coordination of actions with various City Services; Contribute to the implementation of policies in the field of stormwater management; Address citizen requests for the entire service. The ideal profile for us Education acquired through a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering; Possess four (4) years of relevant experience in the role as described above; Hold a valid driver's license and have a vehicle; Possess an ASP card.
