We aim for excellence.What we offer:Competitive salary, vacation, benefits, and RRSP matching programAIM’s annual tuition scholarship program of up to $8,500 per eligible dependentThe tools and support needed to succeed in your career and professional developmentA dynamic and rewarding work environment that is also a lot of funJob DescriptionWe are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal East (Quebec) for Monday to Friday from 2:30 to 11:00 Reporting to the inventory & store team lead, your role will mainly consist of receiving and storing materials received at the warehouse and for shipping.What you will be responsible for:Receive, verify materials, and enter the necessary data into our systemsOrganize and store items in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and categorization using equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) as neededMaintain accurate inventory records using manual systems or a warehouse management system (WMS)Receive requests at the counter while providing excellent service to our internal customersRemove items from inventory, package them, and prepare orders for shipment according to sales and distribution schedulesMonitor inventory levels by performing manual countsEnsure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and safeParticipate in periodic audits and the production of inventory reports. QualificationsTo join our team:You have experience in a warehouse, inventory, mechanical or supply chain environment, preferably.You have a high school diploma or a vocational diploma in a relevant field.You have a good knowledge of inventory software and basic computer skills.You are detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized.You are able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods of time.You have good communication and teamwork skills.You have a forklift certification (an asset, but not required).Bilingual in French and English (an asset).Additional InformationAmerican Iron & Metal (AIM) and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
