When you unleash your spirit with us, you’ll inspire a world of connections.Role ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will be part of a rotating shift schedule, where every four weeks includes one week ofevening shiftsand reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The successful applicant will be responsible formaintaining, installing, calibrating and troubleshooting of all electrical and instrumentation equipment, to ensureefficient and effective operation of production equipment. In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for:- Maintaining equipment and update records- Making recommendations for improvements to equipment and process- Be actively involved with improvements and root cause problem solving- Participate in daily ‘huddles’, actively discuss safety, quality and performance issues and suggestions- Other duties as assignedQualificationsCompliance with standard operating procedures, legal and other requirements including health and safety, fireprotection, environmental, quality, security and continual improvement programs is a requirement of the job. Thesuccessful applicant must have the following:- Registered Journeyman Electrician certificate and- Instrumentation certification.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.- Automation and PLC Control Logix 5000 experience.- Availability to work shifts, occasional call-ins and overtime is required.Physical Requirements:The successful candidate must have and maintain the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, ladders,catwalks, work in confined areas, and be exposed to a variety of environments (wind, dust, heights, hot and coldtemperatures, etc.).Note: This position is part of the United Food and Commercial Workers Canada Union, Local No. 401.
