We provide organizational expertise in the analysis,interpretation and integration of financial and clinical research data driving sustainable growth and efficiency across the Research Enterprise at HHSPosition SummaryThe Senior Advisor, Research P&A will work with the Research Vice President, Research Administrative Directors and their management teams and with the research studies Project Director/Manager (PD/PM) and Investigator (PI) to achieve and maintain effective financial management, control and strategic planning while working within the corporate policies and procedures of HHS.Schedule Work HoursFull time hours (37.5 hours/week).This position is temporary until December 2026. QualificationsAccreditation as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified GeneralAccountant (CGA) or comparable Investment DesignationBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Master's Degree in Accounting or Business AdministrationWorking knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with budgetingProven ability to analyze research, manage and work independentlyIntermediate or better computer skills in the use of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPointDemonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skillsNot-for-Profit Organization experience an assetHamilton Health Sciences fosters a culture of patient and staff safety, whereby all employees are guided by our Mission, Vision, Values, and Values Based Code of Conduct.
