What you will be doing:(2nd Shift)Coordinate production to meet daily distribution and Department of Transportation paperwork needsCommunicate effectively with each shift counterpart to ensure smooth transition of production activitiesLead programs for reliability, compliance, quality, and safety in the assigned area and ensure government and/or environmental regulations are metPerform in accordance with all aspects of Linde Safety and Quality systems and requirementsMonitor production and manpower levels, anticipate problems, and develop contingenciesIdentify issues and lead improvement plans in production processes, shift schedules, overtime levels, and trainingAddress equipment and product quality issues and ensure sufficient inventory of production supplies is maintainedUse knowledge of organizational culture to achieve objectives and make timely and well-informed decisionsReport all activities, areas of concern, and production needs to upper managementContinuously finds ways to improve work processes to increase efficiency in quality, customer service and profitabilityOther duties as assignedQualificationsWhat makes you great:High School Diploma or required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred3+ years’ experience in an industrial plant environment required2+ years’ managing and developing employees requiredCommunicate effectively and actively listen in a variety of settingsAbility to make tough decisions, take calculated risks, and pursue innovative ideas to drive positive change and organizational successUpholds high standards of honesty and integrityDemonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety cultureContributes to a positive work environment where differences are valued and supportedStrives for personal achievement and helps others attain resultsEnsures accountability through collaboration and interpersonal skillsWhy you will enjoy working with us: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.Linde Gas & Equipment Inc.
